Experience the Christmas story next week with a live, outdoor re-enactment featuring live animals and narration.

Lacombe’s Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is bringing back their live nativity Dec. 21-23 with shows at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 p.m.

The event is free to attend, and afterwards, step inside the church to warm up with free hot chocolate and apple cider, as well as cookies and squares, and see over 200 Creche displays from around the world.

If the timing in Lacombe doesn’t work for you, Red Deer’s LDS church, located at 8 Keast Way, will also have live nativity performances from Dec. 19-21 with shows at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
